Development Status of Shear Blades in China

Over the past thirty years of reform and opening up, the shear blades have played a crucial role in the domestic industrial production field. The birth of slitting tools has played a decisive role in assembly lines and large-scale production models. However, China's slitting tools have not been well developed in high-precision and high-quality fields, or have been influenced by certain practical factors.

Talent is also a major challenge in the research and development of shear blades in China. Since the reform and development, although China has trained millions of talents in the mechanical field, there are very few high-quality scientific research talents. Most of the talents in the mechanical manufacturing field are still engaged in basic processing and design work, and research and development talents have not been given enough attention, resulting in a scarcity of research and development talents in the field of cutting tools in China, which also affects the development of this industry. At the same time, the technological blockade imposed by the international community on our country is also a major bottleneck hindering the development of our cutting tools, which is an urgent issue that needs to be addressed. International cooperation in processing also has an important impact on the development of this field.

However, currently, both funding and talent issues are gradually improving. Many domestic frontline enterprises have already acquired basic research and development capabilities, but achieving results and breakthroughs in the field of slitting machine blades still requires a long way to go.
