The common types of shaft sleeve are various. According to different classification standards, it can be divided into the following categories:
1、 Classification by material and manufacturing process
Metal shaft sleeve: usually made of high-strength and wear-resistant metal materials, such as steel, copper alloy, etc. This kind of shaft sleeve has high mechanical strength and wear resistance, and is suitable for high-speed, heavy-duty or harsh environment applications.
Non metallic shaft sleeve: such as plastic, rubber, nylon and other shaft sleeves. This kind of shaft sleeve usually has self lubrication, corrosion resistance and good shock absorption. It is suitable for occasions that have high requirements for lubrication performance or need to reduce noise.
Composite material shaft sleeve: it combines the advantages of metal and non-metal materials, such as high strength, self lubrication and corrosion resistance. This kind of shaft sleeve is suitable for applications under complex working conditions and can provide better comprehensive performance.
2、 Classification by structure and function
Integral shaft sleeve: relatively simple structure, easy to install and disassemble. It is suitable for occasions where the accuracy of shaft sleeve is not high.
Split shaft sleeve: it is composed of multiple parts, which is convenient for maintenance and replacement. It is applicable to mechanical equipment requiring frequent disassembly or replacement of shaft sleeves.
Sliding bearing type shaft sleeve: in addition to the basic function of shaft sleeve, it can also play the role of sliding bearing to support and rotate the shaft. It is applicable to the occasions that need to bear large radial load and axial load.
Positioning shaft sleeve: it is mainly used to fix the position of the shaft and prevent the shaft from shifting during operation. It is applicable to the mechanical equipment with high requirements for the position accuracy of the shaft.
